You’re complex, intellectually curious and creative. Most of your life has been about service. Perhaps you raised a family or flourished in a career. Most likely you did both and beautifully, too.
And now, it’s YOUR turn. You’re ready to start nourishing yourself more fully in all aspects of your life: at the table and beyond. But frankly? You have no idea where to begin.
Maybe it’s time to start that blog, write a book, take up painting, create your own business. One that feels nourishing.
You’re ready to lean in to a more fully expressed life. And you could use a little hand holding.
We could be a match made in heaven if:
You’re ready to celebrate life on your own terms
Words and stories are clamoring to find a place ‘beyond’ your heart
The words pleasure and permission tickle you to no end
You’ve been traveling solo far too long and you’re ready to invest in a guide at your side
Nonstop, copiously compulsive, Type A over-achiever. That was me. I used to shave one leg in the morning and one at night to save time. I was an accomplished multi-tasker and it even earned me the distinction: Teacher of the Year.
But that lifestyle wreaked havoc on my health. And eventually, my body said, “No more.” Adrenal failure, Hashimoto’s thyroid disorder, bone disease and a soul-crushing exhaustion taught me there was a much more nourishing way to live.
In my years as a nourishment counselor I’ve encountered a lot of women who, just like me, are so passionate about serving others they forget to take care of themselves. I’m on a mission to change that.
Are you ready to write a new nourishment script?
Here’s how I work
I have a gift for helping women discover and expand their richly layered nourishment stories. I’ve noticed that once we begin to nourish ALL aspects of our lives, we start feeling lighter in the world and often, the food piece works itself out.
I’d like to support you in creating a nourishment script that feeds you exquisitely, for the rest of your life. I offer private coaching, brave writing circles (both in person and online), and larger group programs such as my Well-Nourished Woman Inner Circle.
I can help you
• let go of limiting beliefs that keep you from realizing your dreams
• tame your inner critic so that you can confidently step into the next evolution of YOU
• find delicious ways to cultivate your creativity in the kitchen, and in your life
• create a nourishment script that inspires you
• figure out what you want to be the “next time” you grow up
We’ll get along famously if:
• you’re intrigued by the idea of ‘brave writing’
• you are SO READY to create a life filled with more joy and ease
• you’re ready to be nourished by gorgeous food and wondrous words
• you know, in the very essence of your being, that a deeper, richer life experience awaits you
• you love exotic-sounding teas and really good chocolate
Sound like a good fit?
Contact me and we’ll plan a conversation over tea and chocolate.
You taught me how to savor…to really know and experience food and life itself.
Sue Ann, how can I begin to thank you? First, it’s been an honor to experience the breadth and depth of your gentle wisdom. Second, your knowledge on nourishment has changed my life, forever.
You taught me how to savor…to really know and experience food and life itself. The road of diets and restriction and weight frustration is one fraught with stop signs and pot holes, but the journey you took me on was more like a stroll through a lovely forest. Smelling, tasting, touching, feeling alive and deeply present, always aware of my body and what it needed. This gift is one I will take with me forever; a treasure I feel so grateful to have learned.
Your integration of creativity as part of our nourishment story is priceless and unique. It is so obvious that you bring years of knowledge, countless hours of thought, impeccability and deep integrity to your work. This kind of wisdom doesn’t just change habits, it helps us form a lifestyle, which for me, is a far more sustainable way to approach the way I eat. And live.

I began to listen to that beautiful, innocent, loving little girl inside, who for all these years just wanted to be noticed.
Being a part of your “Well Nourished Woman” tribe has been a gift. In addition to a binder filled with the luscious recipes you so generously shared, I walked away with a discovery of who I am and what I find pleasure in. For one thing, getting my hands back in the kitchen, experimenting with foods I had never cooked: pumpkin, squash, quinoa.
Trying new recipes and allowing myself to eat foods that had been on the “forbidden list.” Being reminded of how much I loved to cook. Sue Ann, you changed the way I looked at the meals I planned. You gently encouraged me to look and describe food as nourishing my body in a positive, loving and healthy way.
Writing assignments that brought out the good times in my life, the love of family members, memories long ago forgotten. Learning how to “play” again. Allowing talents to evolve that I never knew existed! And having permission to enjoy myself, and my life.
In selecting a picture of me as a young child, happy in my Fathers embrace, I began to listen to that beautiful, innocent, loving little girl inside, who for all these years just wanted to be noticed.
Thank you Sue Ann for encouraging me to “keep the rhythm,” not only nourishing my body, but nourishing my soul.

How can I explain that when I was angry with kale for not solving my health problems, you helped me fall in love with those curly greens all over again?
Sue Ann is a coach and a friend on a journey that goes deeper and spreads wider into the corners of our lives than we can possibly imagine. How can I explain that when I was angry with kale for not solving my health problems, she somehow helped me fall in love with those curly green leaves all over again? Or, that when I was angry with myself for not solving my health problems, she was an intimate part of my journey to fall in love with myself all over again, too.
I have studied with Sue Ann for several years now, through sometimes dark and sometimes light times in my life and always she has helped shine a light on what I needed to look more closely at, in the gentlest and most loving ways possible. She is a fellow journeyer on the path to a fully embodied, lovely life and she never hesitates to share her own stories and her own vulnerability along the winding way onward towards our truest selves. I am proud to say I am a “lifer” on the Conscious Bites Campus and grateful to call Sue Ann my teacher and my friend.

Your coaching inspired me to explore some inner demons I would not have looked at, otherwise.
Sue Ann, thank you for paving a pathway for women that is expansive and delicious, full of languid curves and hidden vistas. A path that extends far into the future for the long journey that ‘real & luscious living’ requires.
As a teacher and coach you exude patience and loving gentleness – which allows the scared and hurting parts inside us to peer out, maybe even risk taking a step out into the open, trusting that yes, it is safe to do so. I have learned to eat consciously and be gentle and loving with myself. I enjoy green smoothies for breakfast (get kidded a lot about kale) and recognize an increased willingness to try new foods and taste combinations. Thank you. Your course (and coaching) inspired me to explore some inner demons I would not have looked at, otherwise. Thank you for the brave pioneering and willingness to share your insights and knowledge with all of us…so grateful our life paths crossed.

Your body wisdom approach was exactly what I needed to adopt a different way of thinking, and to ultimately (and truly) commit to my own nourishment and health.
Sue Ann, I’ve been waiting for you. I’ve been waiting for someone who is committed to women loving themselves, someone who has “been there,” AND someone who has really immersed herself in both the science and the emotional reality of women’s psyches regarding food, body image and self-care.
Wow, I am bowled over by your knowledge, your ability to teach, and your gentle encouragement. Your body wisdom approach was exactly what I needed to adopt a different way of thinking, and to ultimately (and truly) commit to my own nourishment and health. It’s time. It’s time for me, and it’s time that ‘all’ women to have access to someone like you.
